Professional Background
Dr. Lawrence earned her B.A. in American Studies from Yale University and her M.D. from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her general psychiatry residency at Drexel University College of Medicine and Hahnemann University Hospital, followed by a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
She previously served as Medical Director of Psychiatric Services at Child & Family Focus, Inc. from 2013 to 2026. In this role, she oversaw large-scale program development, including outpatient services supporting over 1,000 families, a first-episode psychosis program in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania, school-based mental health services across 26 public schools, and alternative education-based care programs in Delaware County.
