All Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, Therapists and even our Office Manager have an interest in Fine Tune’s success. If the company were to ever sell (ethically, to an academic center such as Penn, Jefferson, Christiana or UPMC), 40% of net profits would go back to its providers and non-owner leadership. We’re a provider owned and led practice, without private equity or big business involvement, and we believe that a culture where everyone shares an interest in the organization, is best for patients, providers and the future of mental health treatment.
We’ve created a culture where providers can work in the way that they were trained, maintaining their own autonomous private practices within FTP. We do not pressure providers to schedule a certain way, or see high volumes of patients. All that we ask, is that they put their patients first, and deliver the highest quality care that they can offer.
We provide a great deal of support, to make your practice and our systems run as smoothly as possible. This includes full-time administrators, initial patient screening and scheduling, professional medical billers, a team of managing directors (who are clinicians) to address issues should they arise and coordinate with our office manager, office hours with practice leadership, “directors” at each main location, a mentorship program, weekly collaboration meetings and more.
Providers are paid by commission (a percentage of what they collect). We are confident that our providers make more per hour, than the vast majority of insurance accepting positions available in the areas that we serve – and we know we offer better job satisfaction.

Preference Given: Several years experience post-residency training in outpatient psychiatry, publications within the field, academic affiliation, and Fellowship training. Specific niches or interests within mental health, such as LGBTQIA+ Care, Student Mental Health, Substance Use Disorders, Eating Disorders, Geriatric Psychiatry, or Women’s Mental Health.
