Jessica began her nursing career after earning her BSN from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, where she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She worked in psychiatric emergency services, medical detox, and inpatient psychiatry at The Johns Hopkins Hospital before transitioning to community mental health at Reading Hospital.

She later completed her MSN in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at University of Pennsylvania and spent 10 years in private practice with Rittenhouse Psychiatric Associates, where she now serves as Director of Onboarding and Provider Contingency Planning. She has also held an instructional role at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, teaching psychiatric mental status examination and related topics.
