Elizabeth Milburn is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and the Executive Director of Fine Tune Psychiatry. She has over 13 years of experience providing comprehensive psychiatric care to adults, following three years of experience as a bedside nurse. Elizabeth is an ally to the LGBTQ+ community and strives to provide inclusive, affirming care to all patients.
Elizabeth also serves as Executive Director at Rittenhouse Psychiatric Associates, where she maintains a full caseload of patients for whom she provides supportive therapy and medication management. She also provides mentorship to new-to-practice providers, and collaborates with all colleagues on cases. In her leadership roles, she helps oversee day-to-day clinical and operational systems, supporting practice structure, provider collaboration, and patient care quality.
Her patient care philosophy is rooted in unconditional positive regard, ensuring that each individual feels respected, accepted, and understood. As a leader, she values transparency and collaboration, striving to foster a supportive environment where clinicians can grow and patients receive exceptional care.
Clinical Focus
Elizabeth provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adults experiencing a range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, attention deficit disorders, and others.
Her clinical background includes training at the University of Pennsylvania’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), where she worked with undergraduate and graduate students. She has also practiced in diverse settings such as private practice, the Philadelphia Prison System, and community mental health centers, giving her a broad perspective on the many ways people experience and recover from mental health challenges.
